NSH Lady Project Hosts Active Night


Nashua, NH – The NSH Lady Project, based out of Nashua, NH is hosting its very first monthly Active Night with Strength in Balance Barre Studio located on 48 Bridge Street, 3rd Floor, Nashua NH. 

The event will consist of an Introductory Barre Workout class followed by a seminar on ‘Eating for Energy & Vitality’ with a local Holistic health coach.  There will be an opportunity to connect with other ambitious ladies from the Greater Nashua Area.  All ticket proceeds will benefit the Nashua Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.  Ladies are encouraged to wear pink for the event.

 ·         Becki  Somers- Owner of Strength In Balance NH  and instructor of the first Barre studio in Southern NH.  She is a member of the NSH Lady Project and is the first in New England to earn the Ballerobica Certification.  Becki is also among the first in New Hampshire to be educated and certified to teach The BOOTY BARRE®, BOOTY BARRE® Flex and Flow and BOOTY BARRE® Sculpt. She will be instructing the Introductory Class. 

 ·         Andrea Quigley Maynard- Health Coach, a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner & member of AADP will talk about Eating for Energy & Vitality.  She has her own blog and offers personal health coach services.  Andrea is a foodie with a passion for healthy living and helping others do the same.

The NSH Lady Project Active Night is the second in a series of events designed to connect, inspire and showcase awesome women doing amazing things in the Greater Nashua Area.  NSH Lady Project is a non-profit organization and is currently looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team.

The Lady Project was co-founded in 2011 by Sierra Barter, one of Providence Monthly’s “10 To Watch in 2014”and Julie Sygiel of Dear Kate. The Lady Project is a collective of women who come together to connect, inspire and showcase women doing awesome things, through events, membership and community engagement. The first chapter, PVD Lady Project, launched in early 2012 and has over 250 members in the RI area. The second chapter, HVN Lady Project launched in New Haven in October 2013; and BOS Lady Project kicked-off in Boston in January 2014.
