NHDP Statement on the Election of Senate Minority Leader Jeff Woodburn

Concord, NH-- Today, the Senate Democratic Caucus elected District 1 State Senator Jeff Woodburn to serve as their Minority Leader. Senator Donna Soucy was elected Deputy Minority Leader and Senator Andrew Hosmer was elected Caucus Leader.
"Senator Woodburn is an accomplished and well-respected leader, who will be a strong voice for the Democratic Caucus," said New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman Ray Buckley. "He has honorably served the North Country, and has a record of bipartisanship and pragmatic leadership. Congratulations to Senator Woodburn and the rest of the Caucus."

Senator Jeff Woodburn has served in the State Senate since 2012. He previously served as Chairman of the New Hampshire Democratic Party and as a senior advisor to Congressman Dick Swett.
