Concord - New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Jennifer Horn today blasted Senator Jeanne Shaheen's efforts to block the Keystone Pipeline after a new Obama Administration report from the State Department found that "building the pipeline would have little impact on global climate change."

"The new report from the Obama Administration is a major embarrassment for Senator Jeanne Shaheen and proves that her repeated attempts to block the Keystone Pipeline are foolish and irresponsible. This project will help reduce our dependence on foreign oil, reduce the cost of energy for Granite Staters and create jobs for American workers.

"Senator Jeanne Shaheen has blindly followed orders from the radical environmental groups that have funded her political campaigns and opposed this worthy project. She has ignored the will of her constituents and reminded Granite Staters that we need to replace her with a Republican senator who will stand up for good jobs and affordable energy."

Shaheen Has Taken $156,572 From Environmentalist Groups Over The Course Of Her Career. (Center For Responsive Politics, www.opensecrets.org, Accessed 1/31/14)
