Testerman For US Senate - National License Plate Tracking Is Unconstitutional

CONCORD, NH - Karen Testerman, Republican candidate for the United States Senate, opposes any action of the federal government pursuing a license plate tracking system.

"A national license plate tracking system is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment," Testerman said. "This tracking system has the potential to accomplish the same goals as assigning one police officer to track each and every vehicle in public and sometimes private spaces at all times."

"The Department of Homeland Security will use this program to begin inactive criminal investigations targeting every citizen. We have the right not to be constantly monitored when we leave our homes. I will actively oppose such a threat to our Fourth Amendment rights as your United States Senator."
