NHDP - Rep. Knowles to Scott Brown: Tell Hudson Voters You’ll Sign People’s Pledge

Refusing to Sign People’s Pledge He Signed in MA to Keep Special Interest Money Out of Race

Hudson, NH—As former Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown stops in Hudson today, community leaders are asking Brown to sign the People’s Pledge he proposed and signed in Massachusetts to keep third party dark money out of the race.
“What Scott Brown will see as he tours this state is that families here know that Senator Shaheen is representing their interests in Washington, not those of the Koch Brothers and Karl Rove,” said State Representative Mary Ann Knowles. “It’s disappointing that Brown has avoided committing to the People’s Pledge so far. I hope he will see that New Hampshire families deserve the same respect he paid to Massachusetts voters when he took the People’s Pledge in his last Senate race against Elizabeth Warren.”
