Statewide tour of manufacturing facilities, firearms retailers and groups
Jim Rubens, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, continues his statewide tour this week of gun shops, firearms training facilities, manufacturers and advocacy groups highlighting his strong commitment to protecting the right to keep and bear arms and its importance to New Hampshire's economy.
"The individual right to keep and beararms is inviolably guaranteed under both the US and New Hampshire constitutions. Rubens toured the Green Mountain Rifle Barrels manufacturing facility in Conway which employees 140 people, made stops at Al's Gun & Reel Shop in Derry, Barn Store in Salisbury and Marshall's Firearms in Boscawen.
Commenting on the progress of the tour, Rubens states, "There is a genuine concern among New Hampshire gun owners, retailers and local manufacturers that their rights are being threatened by 'Washington-knows-best' crowd. I am out there assuring them that as U.S. Senator, I will vigorously defend their rights, my record proves that."
