NHGOP STATEMENT ON KUSTER AND SHEA PORTER VOTING TO DELAY INDIVIDUAL MANDATE

Concord - New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Jennifer Horn released the following statement today on Representatives Annie Kuster and Carol Shea Porter voting to delay the individual mandate for one year:

"For years, Representatives Kuster and Shea Porter have championed the onerous regulations and job killing tax increases included in ObamaCare. Now, facing plummeting poll numbers and increasingly difficult reelection campaigns, they are frantically trying to distract from their enthusiastic support for this terrible law.

"With this vote, Representatives Kuster and Shea Porter are essentially admitting that President Obama's signature 'achievement' is an unmitigated disaster that has politically damaged them. Granite Staters are smart enough to see through their dishonest election year stunts and realize that the only way to get rid of ObamaCare is to replace Representatives Kuster and Shea-Porter with responsible Republicans in November."
