Manchester - Studio 550 combines art and play for summer art camps!

Summer art camps engage kids with creativity everyday!

Manchester, NH – Studio 550 is hosting three week-long art camps this summer for kids of all ages. As always, there is a 5% sibling or referral discount!

This is a series of week-long art camps where students will be able to escape into their creativity with clay and various other unique art forms. These camps are open to all ages between 6-18, and there is a special teen week for older children to focus on either paper and book arts or pottery thrown on the wheel.

Week 1: All Ages, July 7-July 11, 2014
AM: Travel the world with Art!
Learn about different cultures, the art they made and made your own.
PM: Tell me a Story.... Narrative Art- Write stories and make the characters come to life with puppets, masks, and more

Week 2: All Ages, July 14-18, 2014
AM: Little Treasures:
Boxes, containers, and other things with lids.
PM: Fin, Feather, and Fowl: The world of the wild is our inspiration this week.

Week 3: Teen Week, July 21-25, 2014
AM: Fiber and Paper Arts -
From origami, to book binding and paper making, discover the possibilities within this often overlooked media.
PM: Wheel throwing for Teens: Learn the basics of how to make functional cups and bowls.
