RYE – U.S. Senate Candidate Scott Brown released the following statement in response to a new report from the National Employment Law Project highlighting that most jobs added during the unbalanced recovery have been in lower-wage industries:
"Today's report from the National Employment Law Project reveals the weakness of the economic recovery as middle-income jobs have been wiped out and replaced with low-wage work. Too many people are under-employed, or haven't gotten a decent pay raise in years. Washington needs to focus on pro-growth policies that will create good-paying jobs for middle-class Americans. We can start by saying no to the liberal mindset that favors a bigger and more intrusive federal government. When the government raises taxes and imposes mandates, it slows economic growth. I want to empower individuals to start businesses, expand existing ones and hire new workers. For businesses to be successful, we need to get government off their back."
