NHDP - Granite State Democrats Complete Successful Statewide Series of Grassroots Summits

Over 500 Total People Turned Out for 12 Summits Across State

Concord, NH-- The New Hampshire Democratic Party completed its statewide grassroots training program with it's 12th and final summit last night in Meredith. Each summit united volunteers, activists, and community members dedicated to electing strong, Democratic leaders this coming November. Over the past two months, Democrats from all ten counties, Manchester and Nashua met to partake in training sessions ranging from persuasive neighbor-to-neighbor communication strategies, tactics to maximize a social media presence, and effective fundraising methods.

"Over the course of 12 summits, over 500 New Hampshire grassroots Democrats showed their enthusiasm for the reelection of Governor Hassan, Senator Shaheen, Congresswomen Shea-Porter and Kuster and our entire Democratic team. There are less than six months until Election Day, and New Hampshire Democrats are highly energized and organized. At every summit, this was clear: Granite State Democrats won't let a single day go to waste," said State Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley. "We are making sure we continue to have the best grassroots team to spread our message across the state and get out the vote in November."

At each summit, the trainings, discussions, and presentations were led by staff representatives from the State Party's communications, political, and finance offices. Attendees of each summit were provided with materials and contact information to ensure all local grassroots organizations have access to the resources they need to build and develop winning campaigns.
