SCOTT BROWN'S WEEKLY ROUNDUP
Good Saturday Morning,
As Memorial Day weekend starts, Scott Brown enjoyed another week of meeting with people across New Hampshire and hearing their concerns.

Women For Brown Announces Leadership Team
On Monday, the Brown campaign introduced the Women for Brown leadership team. The coalition will be led by former State Representative Maureen Mooney, former President of the New Hampshire Federation of Republican Women Jane Lane, and former State Representative Julie Brown. These leaders will work to grow the Women for Brown coalition and stand strong behind Scott’s plans to find commonsense solutions in Washington and give New Hampshire a voice in the U.S. Senate.
“I’m here to listen to you and work on solutions to help New Hampshire succeed,” Brown said at the event. “Together, we want to have better opportunities for everyone—so they can reach their potentials and succeed. I am very humbled to have each of you join our grassroots team to spread our message and fight for a brighter future for our families, children, and the next generation."

Janice Leahy Receives First Women For Brown 'Hero' Award
Wednesday, Scott Brown presented Janice Leahy with the first Women for Brown "Hero" Award. Janice was recognized for her determination to grow her business while dealing with the tough economy. In addition, Janice's health care premiums increased 85 percent because of ObamaCare.
“It is very troubling to listen to Janice's story,” Brown said. “Hardworking individuals should not have to make difficult choices that cost more money for worse coverage. It is not fair.”
Karen Cervantes Endorses Scott Brown
Scott Brown picked up the endorsement of conservative activist Karen Cervantes on Tuesday.
“I believe Scott is the best candidate to stand up to Senator Shaheen and her liberal agenda that is hurting middle class families and small businesses,” said Cervantes, who currently serves as the Area 1 Vice Chair in Grafton County. “I am confident that Scott’s commonsense values and strong leadership will unite the Republican Party and bring everyone to the table to create more jobs, repeal Obamacare, and move toward energy independence.”
Jerry Thibodeau Pens Op-Ed Supporting Scott Brown
Yesterday, NH Journal ran an opinion piece from former Chairman of the Manchester Republican Committee Jerry Thibodeau, where he calls for conservatives across New Hampshire to support Scott.
>From the Op-Ed: "Scott Brown has been a proud member of the GOP since he was 18 years old and has supported the party throughout his career. On all the issues of the day, most notably taxes, spending, and Obamacare, Scott Brown will be a strong voice in the Senate for conservatives across New Hampshire...As Republicans, we need to unite behind Scott Brown’s candidacy to replace Jeanne Shaheen. Scott is committed to moving this country in a conservative direction by shrinking the size of government, repealing Obamacare, and once again unleashing innovation and growth in the private sector This fall, I am proud to be behind him in his fight to give New Hampshire another conservative voice in the United States Senate."
Union Leader Editorial Criticizes Shaheen On Boko Haram
The New Hampshire Union Leader also had an editorial on Thursday that highlighted Senator Shaheen’s misguided foreign policy stance, while also pointing out the fact that Brown’s proposed legislation would have had a meaningful effect in combating Boko Haram.
