NASHUA – United States Senator Kelly Ayotte, and former New Hampshire Governors Steve Merrill and Craig Benson endorsed Scott Brown today at Norton's Classic Cafe in Nashua. The endorsements from these New Hampshire leaders are just the latest examples of Republicans across the state uniting behind Brown's candidacy for U.S. Senate.
“Scott understands, and he has stood against Obamacare, which is hurting New Hampshire right now. It is hurting New Hampshire families, it is hurting New Hampshire businesses, and he will vote to repeal and replace Obamacare, making sure that we don’t have a government, Washington-centered solution to the problems and the prices and the costs we see in health care,” said Senator Ayotte at the event today.
“Scott is a proven leader," Senator Ayotte added. "He will get things done for New Hampshire, and we in New Hampshire will have someone that will represent our values, someone that will adhere to fiscal responsibility, limited accountable government, to our Constitution, and to the fundamentals that have made our country great. Working together, I can assure you we’ll put New Hampshire first."
"I am running for the United States Senate to preserve New Hampshire's great way of life," Brown said in his speech. "I will go to Congress and team up with Senator Ayotte to repeal of Obamacare, pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution, and get the government off our backs so we can get the economy growing again and create more good-paying jobs."
