Brown For US Senate - BROWN CAMPAIGN RELEASES RADIO AD WARNING OF OBAMACARE'S EMPLOYER MANDATE

"I want to help employers add jobs, with decent pay and annual raises"

MANCHESTER- The Brown campaign today released a new radio ad which warns of next year's Obamacare mandate requiring New Hampshire businesses to pay for health insurance for their employees or face penalties.

Titled "Why I'm Running," Brown talks about his ties to New Hampshire and how he cares about the state before sounding the alarm about the business mandate, which takes effect in January.

"President Obama and Senator Shaheen forced on us a health care system that doesn't work. It hurt families, took away their options, and next year, it gets worse. Businesses will be mandated to offer coverage, which means higher costs and fewer jobs," Brown says in the ad.

Under Obamacare, businesses with 100 or more full-time employees must offer health insurance or pay a $2,000 per employee penalty starting January 1, 2015.  This mandate will be extended to businesses with 50-99 employees in 2016.  The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office projects that Obamacare will result in more than two million fewer jobs.

Brown concludes that he wants to help businesses create new jobs that offer decent pay and annual raises for workers "so families can pay their bills and save for retirement."
