Guinta For Congress - The Week that Was and our Return to the North Country!

From Frank's Desk

This week we were honored to release a list of more than 125 veterans in New Hampshire who are supportive of our efforts to unseat Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter. Led by LTC Gary Terhune of Rye and Sgt. Major Paul Chevalier, they will form an important part of our Campaign. Please take a look at the release here!

Team Guinta traveled to the Londonderry Fish and Game Club to attend the Thank a Vet BBQ. Given the recently reported tragedies at VA hospitals around the country, this was an especially poignant event focusing on giving thanks to veterans here in New Hampshire.

Having worked with and on behalf of veterans, I can say without equivocation that they are some of the finest people our country has to offer.

Our Middle-Class Economic Recovery Tour continued this week at Foss Manufacturing in Hampton. Foss is a prime example of an innovative company that continues to operate at a high level despite the government’s very best efforts to stifle their ability to expand their business. This tour continues to highlight the need for business friendly economic policies that protect and strengthen the middle-class.

We are very much looking forward to next week and our swing through the northern part of our District. We will make our way to Meredith, Wolfeboro and Conway. On Sunday, we will be at Senator Jeanie Forrester’s home for a meet and greet with local activists and citizens concerned with the direction the country is heading. On Monday we will be doing a downtown business walk in Wolfeboro with local Republican leader and business owner Luke Freudenberg. On this business tour we will discuss the local economy with small business owners and residents to get a sense of what they are struggling with during these trying economic times. From there we will travel to Conway to partake in a similar business walk with Carolyn Brown, former state representative and beloved conservative leader.

I look forward to seeing you out on the trail.
