Brown For US Senate - SHINSEKI RESIGNATION IS POSTIVE FIRST STEP, NOW WE MUST FOCUS ON THE BROADER MISSION

MANCHESTER – Scott Brown released the following statement on the resignation of Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki:

“This is a positive step toward restoring the broken trust between our veterans and the agency charged with caring for them when they return home. Our men and women make incredible sacrifices while serving our nation, and in return they deserve the best care and treatment from the VA.  It’s clear that too many veterans have been mistreated for too long, and this is unacceptable.  Now President Obama must do more than install new leadership, as important as that is to restoring accountability. He must focus on the broader mission of providing effective care to our veterans and honoring the sacred trust we have with them.”
