Burns For Executive Council - Burns Opposes Duncan Nomination, Calls on Pappas to Also Oppose

Executive Council Candidate Robert Burns issued the following statement concerning the nomination Bill Duncan to the State Board of Education.

“I oppose the nomination of Bill Duncan to the State Board of Education and would vote against him I were currently a member of the Executive Council.”

“I am asking Executive Councilor Chris Pappas to oppose Governor Maggie Hassan's nomination of anti-school choice and pro-Common Core activist Bill Duncan“

Chris should side with NH families against this assault on our personal freedoms to educate our children. We have already seen many polls and votes in our communities standing up against Bill Duncan's views on school choice and Common Core.

William Duncan is a radical, if confirmed; he will lead the charge to deny children access to the best educational opportunities we can provide in New Hampshire.

Background:

Bill Duncan along with ACLU, is suing the state of New Hampshire over the state’s school choice scholarship law. The lawsuit is pending before the state Supreme Court. Duncan is the webmaster of the anti-school choice, anti-charter school, and pro-common core website called anhpe.org.
