Lambert For Congess - Statement on Casino Reconsideration

Nashua – In response to the New Hampshire House of Representatives vote against reconsideration of SB 366, a bill to expand casino gambling, former State Senator and 2nd District congressional candidate Gary Lambert released the following statement:

“By choosing not to reconsider SB 366, the House of Representatives has continued to turn its back on new jobs, economic growth, and increased state revenue,” said Lambert. “While I respect the views of people on both sides of this argument, I believe turning down the jobs brought by expanded gaming is a serious mistake. We must open new avenues of economic growth to keep our state competitive. While creating stable, middle-class jobs is clearly not a top priority for opponents of expanded gaming, it will be my number one focus as the Representative for the 2nd Congressional District.”
