BELMONT - Tonight, the Brown campaign held their third county organizational meeting of the week at the Top of the Town Restaurant in Belmont to meet with supporters and mobilize volunteer efforts in the community.
"Scott Brown knows that for this campaign to be successful in the fall, we need a strong operation of supporters in the field that will knock on doors, talk to their neighbors, and communicate Scott's positive message for New Hampshire," said Colin Reed, campaign manager for Brown. "These county organizational meetings are just the first step to building an organization and laying the groundwork for a path to victory."
The Brown campaign held an organizational meeting in Cheshire County on Monday and Strafford County on Tuesday, and will host another meeting tomorrow in Coos County.
"Scott's candidacy has energized Belknap County voters," said State Representative Dennis Fields. "He is the best candidate to go up against Jeanne Shaheen in November and restore New Hampshire principles in Washington."
"I am proud to be part of the Brown campaign's grassroots efforts, and look forward to doing all I can to help his efforts here in Belknap county," said supporter Kelley Teunessen. "I am confident we will be able to give Scott the support he needs to win this race and represent New Hampshire values."
