As part of the growing support from grassroots activists, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, Jim Rubens is proud to announce the earned support of the following individuals:
Kevin McHugh, Hanover
Founder and Chairman of the New Hampshire Conservative Majority Project
Founder and Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Volunteer Coalition
(endorsing in his personal capacity, no endorsement received or implied from the organization)
Russ and Lydia Cumbee, Franconia
Republican and Tea Party activists
Commenting on the endorsement, Rubens states, "It is becoming very clear that this race is shaping up as a two-man race and voters are clearly upset with the establishment mentality in Washington, DC. The people of New Hampshire are demanding that their elected officials do what is best for the long term interests of the country and all of its citizens. They do not want someone who will become a 'typical politician'. That is why this campaign is about clear, bold ideas and solutions, why I have term limited myself to no more than two terms and not become an entrenched lobbyist at the end of my term. I am honored to have the support of these excellent activists who share my concerns about the future."
Hitting mailboxes today is the campaign's first mailer aimed at 2nd Amendment supporters. In the letter, Rubens makes clear that he is "unequivocally that candidate" who says Washington politicians should keep their hands off Americans' firearms freedoms.
