Citizens For A Strong NH - Weekly E-Newsletter

Despite voting with President Obama 99% of the time, Senator Shaheen says, "nobody's right 99% of the time."

This week, while at the State House in Concord, Senator Jeanne Shaheen was asked about her 99% voting record with President Barack Obama.

A reporter specifically posed the question, "is the President right 99% of the time?"

Senator Jeanne Shaheen responded with, "nobody's right 99% of the time."

Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire released a web video back in April highlighting Senator Shaheen's 99% voting record with President Obama, which can be viewed HERE.

Senator Jeanne Shaheen once promised New Hampshire she would be a 'strong independent voice.' Ironically though, whether it was on Obamacare, a failed stimulus, higher taxes, or more spending, Senator Jeanne Shaheen sided with President Obama and leadership in Washington instead of her constituents. That's simply not the New Hampshire way.

Senator Shaheen is correct. Nobody is right 99% of the time. Sadly though, whether she wants to admit it or not, her voting record proves she believes otherwise.

An op'ed in Fosters Daily Democrat: 'Hypocritical Hassan, a governor who exempts herself from her own order'
As Granite Staters, we pride ourselves on our independence and the fact we have varying views on the many important issues facing our state and country. Yet, regardless of our differences, there seems to be a single thread that binds us all together - a mutually held disgust that the political culture in Washington and in Concord is broken. We rightfully are tired of elected officials saying one thing, but doing another. We are sick of them believing they don't have to live by the same rules they expect others to abide by. Put simply, we have no use for hypocrisy, and rightfully so. Regrettably, our own Governor Maggie Hassan is shaping up to be hypocrisy's greatest offender.

Intimidation: A new diversion tactic of Mr. Ray Buckley

Apparently intimidating interns with false assertions about 'drunkenness' while they are trying ask our elected officials questions is a new diversion tactic of Mr. Ray Buckley.
