State Representative Gary Daniels of Milford, a candidate for State Senate in District 11, participated in the 2014 Greater Nashua Area Business Roundtable Discussions held yesterday at Hitchiner Manufacturing Company in Milford. The event was sponsored by the Business and Industry Association and was held to solicit input from area business representatives relative to the economy, energy, the environment, health care, jobs and taxes. This input will be used to assist the BIA in formulating their 2015 legislative goals.
Daniels said of the roundtable, “There was a very good exchange of ideas and information that helped me to verify that my focus on jobs and the economy is accurate and that this area will be one of primary importance facing the state over the next two years. The identification of future jobs in the workforce as a major concern of business leaders enables me to proactively seek creative, responsible and common-sense solutions to address this concern, while contributing to the establishment of a pro-business and pro-economic growth environment in New Hampshire.”
Daniels has served on the House Labor Committee for 18 years. State Senate District 11 is comprised of the towns of Amherst, Merrimack, Milford and Wilton.
