Brown For US Senate - BROWN HOSTS "MAKING HIGHER EDUCATION WORK" STOP AT ST. ANSELM COLLEGE

MANCHESTER Today, Scott Brown met with local college graduates and students at Saint Anselm College to discuss his higher education policy. The visit is part of Brown's ongoing "Making Higher Education Work" tour to discuss proposals aimed at reducing the cost of college tuition and creating better opportunities for young people entering the workforce.

"I appreciate this opportunity to meet with these bright students to listen to their concerns and discuss my proposals to get to the root of the problems in our education system," said Brown.  "This generation is motivated to make a difference and chase their dreams, whether attending medical school or starting a small business, and I want to help them reach their goals."

Brown plan includes commonsense solutions to provide financial relief for students and promote better job opportunities for women in the science and technology field. The plan contains a host of proposals set to lower the cost of tuition, simplify the federal financial aid system and provide tools for people choosing to pursue a vocational education.

"Scott Brown is listening to us and actively seeking ways to improve the lives of New Hampshire college graduates to balance student debt and find jobs," said student Allison Gnaegy of Bedford. "I appreciate him coming here to discuss his plan with us."

Brown will continue the "Making Higher Education Work" tour, meeting with college graduates and students across the state to outline his plan.
