Guinta For Congress - On the Trail with Team Guinta

It has been a busy month for Team Guinta. As we close out June, there is much to report on from this past week from endorsements to forums, as well as parades, a visit to Gunstock, spaghetti dinners and more!

Just yesterday, we released our 17th consecutive week of endorsements. This week’s release focused on the support we have received from the small business community. As you know, New Hampshire small businesses make up 96% of our state’s economy. Having their support and confidence in our ability is humbling. Please take a look at the full release HERE

Our Middle-Class Economic Recovery Tour continued this week in Gilford where we toured Gunstock Mountain Resort with their Communications Director Bill Quigley, and General Manager Greg Girard. We talked at length about the regulatory challenges they face as well as the extraordinarily high energy prices in New Hampshire. Jobs and the economy continue to be one of my to
p priorities.
Earlier in the week, we traveled to Merrimack to participate at the monthly GOP meeting. I
gave an update on the Campaign, where I see us heading over the next few months and what the landscape looks like for our cause nationally.

We also made the trip up to Conway for the North Country Federation of Republican Women, who treated candidates to a
spaghetti dinner and a wonderful evening. We discussed the importance of accountability, transparency and the responsibility we give to the elected to govern our society wisely.

I often tell the people I meet that to hold public office is to hold the public’s trust. This is a particularly relevant message today given the unfolding scandal at the IRS. Because of this
breech of the public trust, I was the first New Hampshire candidate from either party to call for the appointment of a special prosecutor to help the American people get to the bottom of this scandal. With the alleged “loss” of Lois Lerner’s and the apparent simultaneous and coincidental loss of six other IRS officials emails, it is all the more important to find out what happened.

Parade season is officially underway and Team Guinta had a great showing this past Saturday at the Plaistow Old Home Day parade! You know the campaign has begun in earnest when we’re able to begin partaking in weekly parades! We hope to see at one very soon.

See you out on the trail
