“Women represent 53% of the electorate and our points of view are every bit as diverse as men’s.”
CONCORD***Carly Fiorina, founder of the Unlocking Potential Project, will host a breakfast in honor of New Hampshire’s elected Republican women leaders at the Grappone Courtyard Marriott in Concord on Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM.
A pioneering businesswoman, Carly Fiorina shattered the corporate glass ceiling in 1999 by becoming the first female CEO of a Fortune 20 company, Hewlett-Packard. In 2004, Fiorina was recognized as #10 on the Forbes list of The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. She is a former Senate candidate, breast cancer survivor and a loving wife and mother. She remains active in business and through her non-profit and public policy work, she is focused on building a stronger America.
“New Hampshire is a national trendsetter for electing women to high public office, especially so many great Republican women leaders who serve the public in so many important ways,” said Fiorina. “I look forward to launching the UP project in New Hampshire to help give women in the Granite State a real voice for change. Women represent 53% of the electorate and our points of view are every bit as diverse as men’s.”
The mission of the Unlocking Potential (UP) Project is to engage women with new messages and new messengers. The UP Project is putting boots on the ground, primarily made up of women, to engage voters on key issues and talk with them about the need to support conservative candidates.
The breakfast is free to the public and open to the press.
“Former business executive and 2010 candidate for the U.S. Senate Carly Fiorina will bring her ‘Unlocking Potential’ project to New Hampshire on Thursday, July 24. … Fiorina will appear at a free morning grassroots event at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord with Republican state Sens. Jeanie Forrester, Sharon Carson and Nancy Stiles.” (John DiStaso, “Fiorina Coming to NH,” NHJournal.com, July 18, 2014.)
“In the 2012 election cycle, Democrats rallied around a Republican ‘war on women’ narrative that often went without effective pushback from the GOP and arguably – combined with a far more sophisticated ground game – handed them control of the Senate, if not the White House. … But on Monday, former Hewlett Packard CEO and 2010 California GOP Senate nominee Carly Fiorina will launch a new super PAC to focus on both issues, Breitbart News has learned. … The UP Project, which stands for ‘Unlocking Potential,’ will seek to help Republicans win back the Senate by directly confronting Democrats and their ‘war on women’ narrative.” (Tony Lee, “Carly Fiorina Goes Head-to-Head With the Dems’ ‘War on Women’ Attack in New PAC,” Breitbart.com, June 29, 2014.)
