"Launching Veterans For Brown, Super Saturday" Happy Friday,
Yesterday, we launched our Veterans for Brown coalition consisting of more than 200 former veterans that are backing Scott in this race. That number is more than double the number supporting Senator Shaheen. Brown also continued his "Honoring Our Veterans" tour this week as he spent Monday meeting with veterans and discussing his recently released policy proposals.
At 10 A.M. tomorrow morning, our campaign will hold its first "Super Saturday" event. We'll all meet with Scott at Campaign HQ and then get to work knocking on doors, making phone calls, delivering lawn signs and all the other grassroots activities.
Last night, we had a great event to unroll our Veterans for Brown coalition. Scott met with a packed house at Campaign HQ to discuss his veterans policy initiatives and how he plans to make sure that those who served our country overseas do not have to fight for respect when they come home.
Also, please check out our Veterans for Brown list that contains the names of over 200 veterans that are supporting Scott, and see what the Union Leader had to say about some members of the coalition. We thank these veterans for their support, but more importantly, we thank them all for their service to our country.
Scott and Gail spent Monday afternoon in Concord, meeting with veterans and discussing his plans to make sure that they can find employment when they return home from service. The Concord Monitor covered the event:
We have two volunteers of the week for this Around Town, Jan Cole and Carol Smiglin, both from Deerfield. Jan recently retired as a bookkeeper after spending 17 years working for a non-proft, while Carol worked as a teacher for 35 years before retiring. They have both spent a lot of time in the office supporting the campaign, and we are lucky to have them. Click here to read about why they feel it is so important to volunteer their time to help elect Scott.
Scott On FOX News
This week, Scott was on FOX News to discuss the state of the New Hampshire Senate race with Bret Baier and his positions on key issues. You can watch the entire segment here. He also went on with Neil Cavuto and hammered home the point that Jeanne Shaheen votes with President Obama 100% of the time.
