Foster's Daily Democrat: Shaheen Should Have Known Better
"In the case of Jeanne Shaheen, we urge voters not to be fooled again at the ballot box in November"

U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., has been the target of political advertising pointing out her complicity in the problems Granite Staters have had in keeping the hospitals and the doctors they trust with their lives.
It’s the false promise President Obama made and the one Shaheen echoed on the floor of the Senate — “Everyone will have the freedom to keep their health care plan if they like.”
What’s even worse than the now obvious fallacy of the statement is that Shaheen should have known better based on her own history as a legislator in New Hampshire.
We do expect that voters consider themselves forsaken by Shaheen’s near blind allegiance to the president while turning her back too often on the Granite State.
Voters here deserve a senator who works hard in Washington but understands his or her loyalties are here in the Granite State.
In the case of Jeanne Shaheen, we urge voters not to be fooled again at the ballot box in November.
