Brown For US Senate - SCOTT BROWN STATEMENT ON SENATE BORDER VOTE

Senator Shaheen Sent A Clear Message That She Stands With President Obama And His Failed Pro-Amnesty Policies"

MANCHESTER - Today, Scott Brown released a statement regarding the $2.7 billion border funding bill that was voted down last night.

"Last night, Senator Shaheen sent a clear message that she stands with President Obama and his failed pro-amnesty policies by voting to move forward with a bill that does not include any policy measures to stop the immigration crisis at the border. Thankfully, Senator Ayotte voted against this travesty. The pro-amnesty policies of President Obama and Senator Shaheen have created incentives for illegal immigrants to cross the border in unprecedented numbers and disobey our laws. It's not right, and it's unfair to the millions of people who are playing by the rules and waiting patiently to enter the country legally. We should welcome legal immigration, but we must say no to illegal immigration."
