Rubens For US Senate - Media Buzzing About Rubens Campaign This Week

With just 39 days until election day, our campaign is resonating with voters across the state and gaining momentum.

On Tuesday, the New York Times broke the story of the Mayday SuperPAC. This organization has pledged $4 million to support two candidates, one Congressional candidate in Iowa and our campaign in New Hampshire. This is the second SuperPAC now supporting my candidacy.

Later that day I was interviewed by NPR's All Things Considered, which broadcast nationally. The story was also picked up by CBS News, The Hill, The Boston Globe, and The Washington Post. In the pieces, Lawrence Lessig notes that "Rubens has earned a special place as a leader".

On Wednesday, I was the featured guest on Jack Heath's show on WGIR. You can listen to the complete interview here.

On Thursday, WMUR followed me on a typically full campaign day that included meeting with businesses, talking to voters, and attending an event at Sheehan, Phinney, Bass, & Green hosted by Brad Cook.

We had a little fun too, as I was able to show off my tree surgery skills for WMUR. Shown below is WMUR's tweet about it. A full candidate profile will air this month.

My message of reforming Washington was profiled in a recent Concord Monitor piece. I have promised that if elected I will:

• Term limit myself to two terms
• Return my pension to the taxpayers
• Make sure all laws that Congress is subject to every law they create
• Not work as a Washington lobbyist after my time in office

Locally, the Portsmouth Herald, Valley News, Concord Monitor, and WMUR's James Pindell have all run stories on our campaign firing all cylinders.

Our radio ad and web ad continue to run and have been very well received. Thank you for your donations which keep these advertisements running.

Now is the perfect time for you to get involved with my campaign. We have a great group of volunteers who are helping us right now, and we could use your help to do even more.

Can you spare an hour to make phone calls at campaign headquarters? Can you knock on doors with us this weekend? Can you participate in a sign wave? Do you have a good sign location or want to host an event? Please reply to this e-mail or go here.
