BROWN CAMPAIGN RELEASES NEW AD: "PROTECTING AMERICA'S FREEDOM"

MANCHESTER - Today, the Brown campaign released a new television ad called, “Protecting America's Freedom,” on the ISIS threat and the need for strong measures to keep out of the country people who would do us harm.

Brown, who retired this year as a colonel after a 35-year career in the Army National Guard, is a strong advocate for securing the nation's borders, and has proposed legislation that would revoke the citizenship of any American who joins a foreign terrorist organization.

Shaheen has voted twice against border security and for amnesty, and as a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee she has been a supporter of President Obama's weak and ineffective foreign policy, voting with him 99% of the time. Earlier this year, Shaheen made the statement that terrorist organizations like the radical jihadist group Boko Haram had nothing to do with Islam, which was greeted with widespread criticism.

Tomorrow, Brown is scheduled to make a major foreign policy speech at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at St. Anselm, where he will address the need to restore American leadership in an unstable world.

Scott Brown:
Anyone who turns on the TV these days knows we face challenges to our way of life

Radical Islamic terrorists are threatening to cause the collapse of our country

President Obama and Senator Shaheen seem confused about the nature of the threat—not me

I want to secure the border

Keep out the people who would do us harm

And restore America’s leadership in the world

I’m Scott Brown and I approve this message

Because protecting the homeland is the first step to making America strong again
