MANCHESTER - Scott Brown released the following statement in response to Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi's announcement of an alleged ISIS plot to attack subways in the United States and Paris:
"I am deeply concerned about the warning we received today from Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi about an ISIS plot uncovered in Baghdad to attack subways in the United States and France. According to the information received, this purported attack will be carried out by foreign fighters who have joined ISIS. Congress needs to pass legislation to strip home-grown terrorists of their citizenship. Canada and Britain are already taking steps to cancel the passports of citizens who go overseas to fight with ISIS. For the security of our country, we should do the same."
