Brown For US Senate - BROWN KICKS-OFF "BETTER JOBS FOR ALL" TOUR, RECEIVES NFIB ENDORSEMENT

"Senator Shaheen votes with President Obama 99 percent of the time; that means she votes against small businesses 100 percent of the time." - Scott Brown

PEMBROKE - Today, Scott Brown kicked-off the “Better Jobs For All” tour with an endorsement from the National Federation of Independent Business at North Country Tractor. The NFIB specializes in small business issues and advocates on their members behalf.

“Scott Brown provides an exciting opportunity for New Hampshire to have a U.S. Senator with a proven track record on small business issues,” said NFIB New Hampshire State Director Bruce Berke. “Brown’s experience supporting small businesses gives him first-hand knowledge of the challenges America’s entrepreneurs are suffering at the hands of a big government. He’s a real fighter and our members will very much appreciate his leadership in Washington.”

North Country Tractor employs 47 people and has stopped hiring due to Obamacare's business mandate going into effect after the election. Under Obamacare, businesses with 100 or more full-time employees must offer health insurance or pay a $2,000 per employee penalty starting January 1, 2015.  This mandate will be extended to businesses with 50-99 employees in 2016.

“I’m humbled to be endorsed by the NFIB and will continue taking our message directly to the voters to fight for pro-growth policies to stimulate New Hampshire's economy,” said Brown. “The Obama-Shaheen economy is a wet blanket on job creators and its employer mandate is preventing businesses from growing. I will vote to repeal Obamacare, cut burdensome regulations and lower energy costs. Senator Shaheen votes with President Obama 99 percent of the time; that means she votes against small businesses 100 percent of the time."
Scott Brown has been a champion for small business and has a lifetime rating of 94% with the NFIB.  Senator Shaheen has a disappointing lifetime rating of 30%, including a 0% rating for the 113th Congress.
