HARPER NAMED ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF
NEW HAMPSHIRE HOMELAND SECURITY AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
CONCORD, NH – New Hampshire Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) Director Perry E. Plummer has announced the appointment of Jennifer L. Harper to the position of assistant director for HSEM.
“Jenn brings more than two decades of experience, an invaluable level of understanding and knowledge, and an unparalleled work ethic to the position,” Plummer said. “She has proven her leadership ability time and time again and is clearly the correct choice to serve as the Assistant Director.”
Ms. Harper has 30 years of experience in State government with 23 of those in emergency management. Most recently, Ms. Harper served as the HSEM Operations Chief responsible for coordinating the State’s response to emergencies and as the State’s Liaison with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Ms. Harper is also an Adjunct Professor with Plymouth State University’s Criminal Justice Department.

Harper holds a master’s degree in Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
