  • East Boston Democrats battle for backers: The winner of the Democratic primary will face off on March 31 against independent candidate Joanne Pomodoro. There are no Republican candidates in the race. Jeremy C. Fox reports.
  • For N.H. Republicans, a chance to land a VIP speaker: Rick Perry, the former governor of Texas and a potential Republican presidential candidate, had the opportunity to address 140 GOP activists. The Strafford County Republican Committee had the opportunity to raise some money. James Pindell reports.
  • John Lakian again under the microscope: The US Justice Department is saying that Lakian, along with his business partner, have run afoul of the law once again. Frank Phillips details the latest.
