Concord - TheNew Hampshire Republican State Committee Executive Board tonight confirmed Portsmouth small business owner Dan Innis as the party's next finance chairman. Innis was appointed to the position by Chairman Jennifer Horn and supported by Senator Kelly Ayotte and Congressman Frank Guinta.
"Dan Innis is an accomplished small business owner and a proven leader in his community. I am pleased that Dan has agreed to dedicate his time and considerable talents to helping Republicans raise the resources that we need to compete with the Democrats," said NHGOP Chairman Jennifer Horn. "I am proud to have Dan on my team and look forward to his contributions to the New Hampshire Republican State Committee."

Dan Innis ran for the First District Republican nomination for Congress in 2014. He served as the Dean of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire, overseeing major developments at the school. Dan co-founded The Hotel Portsmouth with his husband, Doug Palardy, and previously co-founded The Ale House Inn in downtown Portsmouth prior to its sale in 2013.
