FRIDAY: DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz to Visit New Hampshire, Discuss Republicans’ Failed Records and Backwards Priorities
WASHINGTON – Today the Democratic National Committee announced that DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz will visit New Hampshire on Friday, April 17, 2015. The Chair will be in Nashua on the sidelines of the NHGOP’s #FITN Republican Leadership Summit to highlight the damaging impact the Republican 2016 presidential hopefuls would have on the middle class and hardworking families in the Granite State and across the country.
Wasserman Schultz will also join Ray Buckley, Chairman of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, for a press conference Friday morning to discuss the current GOP field and its steadfast commitment to the tired Republican playbook and to policies that move the country backwards: opposing increasing the minimum wage and equal pay legislation, promoting policies that benefit the wealthiest few at the expense of the middle class, and turning back the clock for women’s health and LGBT equality.
“Republicans running, or considering a run, for the White House in 2016 have stumbled all over themselves to brandish their conservative credentials, and their out of touch policies leave everyday Americans behind,” said DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. “This group of Republicans are pushing policies that will benefit the wealthy at the expense of hardworking Granite State families and would turn back the clock on women’s health, and LGBT equality. The Granite State and the country deserve better.”
More details about Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s visit will be released soon.
