Good afternoon –
Outgoing Senate Democrat Leader Harry Reid is in quite the pickle, as after bragging about his personal campaign to get Governor Hassan to run for Senate, his team then said that he had no involvement in the matter.
Except there’s that stubborn fact that earlier today his super PAC – Senate Majority PAC – bought and released a poll from known Democrat pollster (PPP) which has the race all knotted up.
If you are reporting on this news then below is a statement from the NRSC:
“Harry Reid makes Pinocchio look like an honest man, as after saying he didn’t recruit Maggie Hassan to run for Senate his super PAC released a poll aimed at getting the Governor into the race. Reid is the definition of shady, so it has to be a bit alarming that he’s actively recruiting Hassan to run for Senate.” – NRSC spokesman Jahan Wilcox
