Targeted Google, Facebook And Twitter Ad-Buy Calls On Kelly Ayotte To Stop Blocking Efforts To Pass A Fiscally Responsible State Budget
Concord, N.H. – Today, the New Hampshire Democratic Party launched a digital ad campaign calling on Kelly Ayotte to stop her political meddling with New Hampshire’s budget.
The Google, Facebook and Twitter ad-buy will urge Granite Staters to sign a petition calling on Ayotte to stop blocking efforts to pass a fiscally responsible state budget.
The ad campaign follows the Republican State Senate’s attempt to cover up Kelly Ayotte’s budget interference by refusing to provide any records in response to a Right To Know request filed by the New Hampshire Democratic Party.
“Kelly Ayotte and her allies should not be interfering in the state budget process, putting critical economic priorities at risk and instructing Republicans in the legislature to refuse to come to the table and negotiate with Governor Hassan in good faith,” said New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley. “Regardless of who runs against Kelly Ayotte, it’s wrong that Ayotte's allies clearly have been pushing the state legislature to politicize the budget process in a desperate attempt to rescue her vulnerable re-election prospects at the expense of New Hampshire’s people, businesses, and economy.”
