NHDP - Four GOP Presidential Candidates in NH today, But Only One Message

CONCORD, N.H. - Today in New Hampshire, Republican presidential candidates are campaigning all over the state but they all carry the same message. Any of these GOP presidential hopefuls and their backwards policies would be terrible for New Hampshire and for the nation.

Just take a look at how similar they all sound:

On health care:

Scott Walker: “One of the first acts [of my presidency] would be to push through a change that would fully repeal Obamacare”

Chris Christie: “[The Affordable Care Act] doesn’t work and it should be repealed.”

Lindsey Graham: “We will use every tool in the toolbox to repeal and replace Obamacare.”

Donald Trump: “We have to repeal Obamacare.”

On immigration:

Scott Walker favors self-deportation.

Chris Christie has said a full path to citizenship was “extreme” and “pandering”.

Lindsey Graham opposed birthright citizenship for U.S. born children.

Donald Trump referred to Mexican immigrants as “rapists” and they’re “…bringing drugs”.

On minimum wage:

Scott Walker called the minimum wage a “lame” idea.

Chris Christie is “tired of hearing about the minimum wage”.

Lindsey Graham blocked raising the minimum wage.

Donald Trump would not increase the minimum wage.

On education:

Scott Walker has slashed funding for the University of Wisconsin system, resulting in layoffs and buyouts.

New Jersey schools still have not recovered from Chris Christie’s $1 billion cut in education spending.

Lindsey Graham opposed increasing Pell Grants and student loan forgiveness.

Donald Trump wants to cut the Department of Education “way, way, way down.”
