"The name of American, which belongs to you, in your national capacity, must always exalt the just pride of Patriotism..."
July 4th is a reminder of the power that the American people have when they work together.
239 years ago, through hard work and compromise the Continental Congress passed the Declaration of Independence and our nation was born. Our Founding Fathers weren't afraid to stand up to the British for liberty in 1776, and we shouldn't be afraid to stand up to Washington now.
Let's take a cue from our founding fathers who were willing to risk their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor for the greater good. No more politics. No more personal agendas. Let's work together to make our country the best it can be.
On this day of freedom and sacrifice, let's keep the men and women of the military in our prayers.
Recently, I was lucky enough to spend some time with some of our nation's greatest heroes and thank them for all they have done for our country. Please remember to thank a veteran today.
God Bless America,
