ALG - If Islamic State intel was cooked by CENTCOM, then was Iran nuke intel, too?

Sept. 10, 2015, Fairfax, Va.—Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning today issued the following statement in response to the exclusive report from the Daily Beast that U.S. intelligence on the Islamic State terrorist group out of CENTCOM is being cooked "to adhere to the administration's public line that the U.S. is winning the battle against ISIS and al Nusra, al Qaeda's branch in Syria":

"The execution of U.S. foreign policy, particularly at the classified level, depends on accurate, unvarnished information being presented to policy makers including elected leaders. The decision by the Obama administration to alter this information for political reasons to downplay the threat posed by Islamic State is unconscionable and those responsible should be rooted out and fired.

"Members of Congress must now call into question all the information that is being presented by the administration from CENTCOM, particularly on Iran's nuclear capabilities. If there is a problem with reporting to do with Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, then that raises the question of what other reporting in CENTCOM's area of responsibility, which includes Iran, is being cooked."
