CONCORD, N.H. - Over 4,200 attended the New Hampshire Democratic State Convention this weekend, making it the largest State Convention ever. More than 4,000 flocked to the Verizon Wireless Arena for the largest convention in party history to unite behind a populist domestic and economic agenda in an effort to keep the White House next year.

"New Hampshire Democrats never take an election off," said Lucas Meyer, president of the New Hampshire Young Democrats.

"If you look around this room, I don't think there's a question about the excitement for this election," he said. "I think the field we have is excellent. It gives us a lot of ideas, and I think a lot of people are going to get engaged."

NHDP convention focus of national live story on Snapchat

Snapchatters will be contributing to the overall broad media coverage of the big New Hampshire Democratic Party state convention at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Saturday.

Snapchat, which has nearly 100 million daily active users, will for the first time focus on a nationally circulated live story on the New Hampshire campaign.

Before and after the convention, the live story will continue with coverage of all Democratic campaign events in the state throughout the day...

A team at Snapchat “curates” many individually-submitted Snaps and compiles them into a three-to-five minute video that is then broadcast to millions of users their phones.
