Strong NH - one percent

Granite Stater,

One percent. That's how many Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) cases actually go to trial. Most get resolved without one, but just this week, we've learned that our FOIA litigation against the IRS has survived the IRS' motion for summary judgment and will be set for trial.
For nearly a year, Citizens for a Strong New Hampshire has been entrenched in a battle to obtain the truth for every Granite Stater.
Last year, with the help of the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), we filed a FOIA request with the IRS to gain information on the targeting of conservative groups by the IRS, and to seek information on Senator Jeanne Shaheen's and former Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter's involvement.
Through our FOIA lawsuit, not only will the IRS be forced to provide sufficient answers, but the government may also be on the verge of having to finally publicly identify, and actually account for, the contents of the numerous email accounts used by Lois Lerner to conduct official IRS business.
So, as you can see, we are making progress, however, we have a long, expensive road ahead of us.
And, that is why we need your help.
We believe that every Granite Stater and American deserves the truth and that is why we are continuing our fight.
