NHDP Response to President Obama's Final State of the Union Address

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Following President Obama's final State of the Union Address on Tuesday night, New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Raymond Buckley made the following statement:

“President Obama’s vision is one of progress, one of hope for the future. Under President Obama, we’ve had 70 straight months of private sector job growth and 17 million Americans now have health care. But we need to elect a President in November who will continue to progress and ensure the economic, personal, and national security of all Americans in the future.”

“While Republicans would repeal the progress that we’ve made, return to failed economic policies, defund Planned Parenthood, and roll back equality for the LGBT community, Democrats will build on the progress we’ve made and lead us into the challenges of the future. Come November, Democrats will win in New Hampshire because they're the ones fighting for all Granite State families.”
