ELIZABETH EDWARDS MEETS WITH HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS, HEALTH CARE ADVOCATES AND VOTERS AT GRANITEROOTS CAMPAIGN EVENTS TO DISCUSS JOHN EDWARDS' PLAN TO GUARANTEE TRULY UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE
Elizabeth discusses John Edwards' plan for universal health care as Gov. Lynch and the state of New Hampshire fight the Bush Administration to keep New Hampshire children enrolled in Healthy Kids
(Manchester, NH) – Elizabeth Edwards met with health care professionals, health care advocates and voters at Graniteroots house parties and town halls across New Hampshire today to discuss John Edwards’ plan to provide truly universal health care.
“When our president is fighting tooth and nail to cut off health care coverage for children in New Hampshire and across the nation, it’s clear we need big, bold changes,” said Elizabeth. “John was the first candidate to propose truly universal health care, and his leadership has put universal health care front and center for every Democratic candidate in this race.”
Today, Elizabeth Edwards talked with health care professionals, health care advocates and other voters at the Concord home of Chris Miller, a mental health professional. She also held town hall meetings in Plymouth and Lincoln.
Tomorrow in Candia, Elizabeth will join state Representative and health care advocate Susi Nord for a discussion about health care with New Hampshire voters and will attend the 'Women Making a Difference' forum in Amherst.
