Former Iowa First Lady Christie Vilsack to Campaign for Sen Clinton in NH

MANCHESTER – Former First Lady of Iowa Christie Vilsack will be in New Hampshire August 28th – 29th to discuss Senator Clinton’s commitment to education. Vilsack, Co-chair of Iowans for Hillary, will host a series of roundtable conversations on Senator Clinton’s record of fighting to raise educational standards across the country.

As president, Hillary will continue to make education a priority and fight to improve the quality of every child’s education from preschool through college. Like Vilsack, Hillary is well-aware of the challenges that confront educators today. She believes that we should help all students, all educators and all schools meet the highest possible standards in a way that improves teaching and learning. Since 2002, Hillary has spoken out about the need to reform No Child Left Behind into a law that works better for students and teachers.
