Gov Huckabee gaining ground

Thank goodness the weather the last few days in New Hampshire hasn’t reflected the spirit of the people here. Over the last couple of my days my dad has visited with people from all over the state and has had an extremely warm reception.

Whether it was the group of businessmen dining in the restaurant with us who just couldn’t get enough of my Dad on our way out or the cashier at the Manchester Wal-Mart who had just turned 18 and couldn’t wait to vote for Mike Huckabee, the truth is our numbers are growing. We may not be first in the polls, but we are certainly gaining ground and I expect that after my Dad's debate performance last night, we will have an even greater number of people joining our team.

If you missed the debate last night, here is some of what people are saying:

Jeffrey Toobin, CNN Senior Analyst just said Gov. Mike Huckabee's answers were most eloquent of EITHER debate, and called him"breathtaking".

Erick Erickson, head blogger at, "Hands down, my friends, hands down, Mike Huckabee won tonight's debate."

Chuck Todd, NBC Political Director, "The candidate who performed best, frankly, was Mike Huckabee".

Chris Cillizza with the Washington Post, "One highlight we didn't mention previously -- Mike Huckabee's response about his religious faith and creationism. Huckabee evinced real emotion (almost always a good thing in debates) on the issue; "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Either someone believes God created the process, or that it's an accident and it just happened," Huckabee said to loud applause."

David Brody of CBN News, "It’s appropriate that Tuesday night’s Republican debate took place in the Granite state because tonight Mike Huckabee was solid as a rock. This is now the third debate where he has done well but tonight he cranked I up to another level. There was a passion in his voice tonight."

It is a great feeling to witness the momentum and the excitement building. To help the campaign maintain its energy, I hope that you will match my dad's commitment right now by taking an important step by making a contribution of $25, $50, $75, $100, $250 or even $500 to help build the campaign's momentum. A contribution today will help send an important signal that my dad's campaign is continuing to gain strength and is constantly growing.

Thank you in advance for your support.
