Graniteroots for John Edwards to Hold 200 House Parties for Change Across New Hampshire

Host of House Meeting for Change with the Most Attendees will Accompany Elizabeth Edwards to the Next Debate at Dartmouth

(Manchester, NH) - From Monday, September 17th through Sunday, September 30th, the Graniteroots for John Edwards will be holding 200 House Meetings for Change across New Hampshire.

"These 200 house meetings are a tremendous opportunity for New Hampshire voters to hear about John Edwards' bold plans to end the war in Iraq, provide truly universal healthcare, and halt global warming while creating good-paying jobs," said New Hampshire state director Beth Leonard. "Our support continues to grow across New Hampshire and we are very grateful that so many people have opened up their homes to help bring about the transformational change our country so desperately needs."

The person who hosts the House Meeting for Change with the most attendees before September 23rd will be invited to attend the next presidential debate at Dartmouth on September 26th as Elizabeth Edwards' VIP guest.

A member of the Edwards for President New Hampshire campaign staff will attend each House Meeting for Change to answer questions about John Edwards' policies and help attendees learn how they can get involved with our campaign for change. This week of House Meetings for Change follows a successful weekend of canvassing during which the Graniteroots for John Edwards handed out 8,000 white spruce tree saplings in communities across the state.
