Tancredo, Hunter, Huckabee and Paul to Attend
HOLLIS, NH – The Hillsborough County Republican Committee will host its annual summer fundraising event with a barbeque on Sunday, August 19th beginning at 12:00 noon at the Alpine Grove in Hollis. Joining the crowd as the event’s keynote speaker will be Senator John E. Sununu (R-NH).
GOP presidential hopefuls, Congressman Tom Tancredo, Congressman Duncan Hunter, Governor Mike Huckabee and Congressman Ron Paul will also join the event attendees. Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Senator John McCain have not ruled out an appearance and other presidential candidates will likely attend.
“Based on our advance ticket sales, we’re expecting over 200 to attend this year's event. The candidates are going to be treated to a great day of Republican activism and enthusiasm for all of them," said Fred Plett of Goffstown who serves as the Hillsborough County GOP Vice Chair. “This is going to be an outstanding time for the GOP. We have a very impressive slate of presidential contenders in addition to our extremely popular US Senator John Sununu who will be joining us. The party is energized and ready to work hard to return New Hampshire to red state status next year," Plett said.
Tickets are $18.00 per person and tables for 10 are $150.00. Tickets can be ordered by mailing a check to Mrs. Gerrie Porter at PO Box 542, Amherst, NH 03031.
