Marchand for Senate Campaign Hires Staff

(PORTSMOUTH, NH)--Steve Marchand's campaign for U.S.Senate today announced the hiring of three new staff members.

"We're very excited to welcome our new team members," said Campaign Coordinator David Mason. "Our campaign is growing rapidly with strong support from New Hampshire's grassroots and these new staffers will help us reach out to voters across the state and raise the resources we need in order to do it."

New staff members include:

Jessica Aune (Finance Associate)- a recent graduate of The George Washington University in Washington,DC, Jessica has interned at EMILY's List, in the finance department on Harold Ford Jr.'s 2006 U.S. Senate race, and on Capitol Hill.

Mitch Doty (Finance & Policy Associate)- a veteran of the DSCC-targeted Jim Pederson for Senate campaign (AZ), Mitch served as the campaign's Economic Policy Assistant, and has a strong background in finance, communications, and research. He is a 2004 graduate of the University of New Hampshire.

Betti Packman (Communications Associate)- a recent graduate of Wesleyan University, where she served as President of the Wesleyan Democrats, Betti served as Deputy Director of Policy and Communications with Lawless for Congress (RI). She also interned with the Hoeffel for Senate campaign(PA), as well as at The Center for American Progress and the Scottish Parliament.

These staffers join Campaign Coordinator David Mason and Senior Finance Associate J.P. Boyle.
