McCain, Bolton to Address NH GOP Saturday & RNC Election

CONCORD – Senator John McCain and former US Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton will be the featured speakers at Saturday’s meeting of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee. The meeting is expected to attract about 400 New Hampshire Republicans. The group will also be electing a new National Committeewoman at the meeting. The election fills the unexpired term of Nancy Merrill, who resigned to become active with a presidential campaign, in accordance with state party bylaws requiring our National Committee members to be neutral in contested primaries. The four announced candidates are:

Carol Holden, Amherst, County Commissioner

Wendy Stanley Jones, Durham, activist

Stella Scamman, Stratham, former state representative

Phyllis Woods, Dover, former state representative & current Strafford County GOP chairwoman
